While in Austria I was asked to do the voice over on a how-to-make lenticular images video starring Dan Vojtech. Considering that Dan is one of my favourite photographers in the world right now, how could I say no? Check it out and hear this weird british twang which I do not have normally.

Pumpkin Bike – Little bike check shot by me and edited by Brian Park. Here’s the full story of the bike -

In 2008, Harrison Boyce of Macneil Bikes got creative with Macneil’s 08 orange line and built up a BMX with the crazy bright colour combination of orange and green bike parts: is.gd/​itfWw

In 2009 he built up a new bike, but the pumpkin bike still lived on in infamy. Some time that year my BMX was stolen, and in order to make sure I could keep riding and shooting with the Macneil team, Harrison kindly gave me the pumpkin bike.

Since then I’ve made a few modifications (took off pegs, put on freecoaster) and have been riding it gratefully ever since. It’s aired quarters, jumped dirt jumps, hit questionable dorps to flat, gone backwards lots, forwards sometimes. It’s been super fun to ride and the colour combination never fails to turn heads.

One rainy day this month I went riding with Travis Collier, but after wounding himself after hitting a lamp while doing a wallride he headed home for some deserved chill time. But determined to keep testing my new video tripod, I kept riding and randomly ran into Joe Pennell at the plaza and we ended up filming some clips. The result is this quick little vid, hope you like!

Hello! I am in Wales, U.K. right now spending time with my family for the next two weeks. Just spent the past week visiting Germany, London, and also Austria where I visited the Red Bull headquarters, had some wonderful discussions and also drove on the Autobahn for the first time.

On to motion picture matters, above is a video made by Mike McKinlay featuring Travis Collier doing some insane things on his bike. I glidecam filmed the introduction and also have two riding clips in it. WOop!

Have been filming lots over the past while after acquiring a Nikon D300s. Really enjoying it! Check out the video above with some clips Harrison and I filmed last week in Poco for Macneil Bikes.

Excitingly, yesterday I landed my hands on a Glidecam HD-2000. Here’s a video featuring clips with my first few hours on it. To say I am excited about this thing is an understatement. I’m so happy to be alive during a time that technology like this exists.

The last ten days have been really crazy, but right now I’m back in Canadaa and have been busy catching up with technology. First order of the day: filming with my newly acquired Nikon d300s. Am in Toronto for the Red Bull Thre3Style 2010 Canadian finals. After touring to ten cities across Canada, it’s cool to see everything come together like this. Music will be bangin at the finals tonight – all ten DJs definitely earned their respective spots. Really excited for it.

To coincide with the Thre3Style finals, Red Bull put on a photo gallery of music photography at the Red Bull 381 Space in downtown Toronto. I have some work in it, but my fav is this lenticular print of four images I took of Skratch Bastid at the Thre3Style Quebec City stop. See it in the video above. Thank you Kenny Mac and Red Bull for making this happen!

Also! After going a few weeks without my Canon SD780 which I lost on a plane somewhere, today I broke down and bought a Canon S90. I love it. Check out some photos from it that were taken tonight!
